★★★★★ “Fantastic! I found this book helpful for restructuring our channel strategy in one business line and the creation of a new channel of indirect partners. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to learn more about the indirect channel strategy.”

We made it to the top!
After working on the project for more than twelve months we can finally release my new book Building Successful Partner Channels for sale today. It has taken a full calendar year to write the book, but if I had not blocked the calendar the last six months, I wouldn’t have made it. Blocking the time meant that I could devote half my time to completing the book, while I spent the second half on research and preparation for my fourth book, which will be published in Autumn 2015.
Declining consulting assignments was not easy, but it was necessary to get the project that was highest on my professional ambition list completed. Apart from working on my books I only spent time running my executive workshops across Europe and they provided super inspiration for my book projects, too.
Writing a book is an activity that requires focus, concentration and time, but in return provides a magnificent overview of the subject area. My synopsis and all my drafts have been through a group of subject matter experts from around the world and this critical scrutinizing has had an enormous impact on the result (which is ultimately up to the reader to judge). Since I am not an native English speaker my “Danglish” has been well and thoroughly processed by my PA Emma Crabtree (residing in Portugal). Illustrations and layout have been in the hands of Jelena Galinka operating from Tallinn in Estonia.
Building Successful Partner Channels is a book about how to build and develop indirect (not just sales!) channels in the software industry, when you have ambitions to become the global market leader. I wrote the book because I have had great success with this approach, but can see that many others have trouble making it work. On LinkedIn there are about 5 million people who work with marketing tasks in the software industry, and I have written the book to help as many of them as possible with the experience and principles, which I successfully have and continue to apply.
On 3, 4 and 5 April the book was #1 on Amazon in the category Global Marketing (Kindle Free) and on 7 April it was in the top five in Kindle Paid.
